Hi everyone,
I was hoping some experienced campers could give me some tips on camping gear. I want to get into camping and hiking, it seems like a great way to be active and have fun, travel on the cheap. Unfortunately I don't have anything to do it with. I don't want to spend a ton of money on camping gear, but it looks like I'll need to buy a few things to make it happen, so here are some:
1. Camping gear shopping ideas?
2. What are some must-haves for camping? What can I live without?
3. What are some good brands/stores for boots, jackets (we live in the northeast), tents, etc.? What is important and what is not (e.g. do tent brands matter? Do sleeping bag brands matter or are they all the same thing?)
I'm definitely a lifelong shopper, so I don't mind spending a little extra on something I'll only have to buy once. I just have no idea about this, any help would be appreciated - thanks!
You can start camping without spending a lot of money by renting a camper. This will save you money on buying expensive equipment. At BougeRV Canada , you can pick out a camper with a complete set of systems, as well as tents and bags for drowsing. This is a extremely good solution for folks who need to strive camping and travel in consolation without spending more money.
